Second Annual Cary Gallery of Artists’ Plein Air Paint Out

Mark your calendar! Cary Gallery of Artists will be hosting second annual paint out on October 24, 2009. Open to all artists, for all two-dimensional media except photography. Registration forms are available at the gallery: 200 S. Academy Street, Suite 120, Cary or on our website: www.carygalleryofartists.org.

Monetary awards will be presented at the wine and cheese reception on October 30. This paint out is sponsored by The Heart of Cary Association and will be judged by Gayle Stott Lowry (www.gaylestottlowry.com). Nancy Scoble (photo) was the winner last year.

 

 

6 New Artists Debut at Cary Gallery of Artists August 28

Join us for Final Friday Art Loop to see our 6 new local artists featuring paintings, photography and raku pottery. Works by Emily Lees, Tesh Parekh, Jill Ciccone Pike, Eric Saunders, Kala Thorpe and Kathleen Ward are on view in addition to 14 other local artists. The gallery is also showing jewelry, photography, pottery, porcelain and books. Wine, finger food and Miss Taffy’s Cheesecakes 6-9 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come by and meet the artists.

 

Art Loop at Cary Gallery of Artists

February27th, 6-9pm, wine and cheese reception for Charles Dadswell and Flora Lea Louden, March featured artists.  Charles’ exquisite photographs and Flora Lea’s lovely handmade books will be on view.
